Irish Wake
460 Sea Ray Sundancer

The Irish Wake is a Four-Sixty Sea Ray Sundancer Express Cruiser.  She is meticulous cleaned and detailed.  With an almost 15 feet of beam and over fifty feet of length she offers huge areas to entertain our guests.  And weighing in at 38,000 lbs. she provides a solid, dry, ride.  Her power plants are (2) 450 hp. Diesel Cummins engines that provide a 25 mph cruise. There is a full bow rail and handles for moving safely fore and aft from the cockpit to the bow.  Located on the bow is a huge bow pad for laying in the sun or just relaxing.  The cockpit has comfortable seating for 8+ and the rear seat rolls out to make another large protected sun pad. Her hardtop offers shade underway.  Below decks are (2) staterooms and (2) bathrooms (heads).  There is also a salon and full kitchen area (galley), all air-conditioned.

For those wanting to get in the water, the Irish Wake has a full hydraulic transom allowing all to safely enter and exit the water. She also carries over a dozen PFD (Personal Flotation Devices) and has a number of children's sizes as well for all guest's needs.  All electronics and navigation systems are 2016 or newer. There is a EPIRB (Emergency position-indicating radio beacon) and all USCG required signaling and medical items.  The vessel even has thermal visioning for night maneuvering. All operating crew members at Sundancer Charters are CPR and First Aid certified and have training in emergency procedures. We are also a drug free operation.

As per USCG regulations the Irish Wake is limited as all "uninspected vessels under 100 tons" to (6) paying passengers.  Though Capt. Shawn holds a Master's License and the Irish Wake can hold 12 or more people comfortably, the USCG limits the number of paying passengers that can be boarded.  If you are told by another charter boat that they can accept more than (6) passengers, request to see their COI (Certificate of Inspection) from the USCG.  It is a very costly and intensive process (6 months +) to secure a COI, which is why almost all charters are limited to (6) except larger commercially built excursion vessels.  This is not just a safety issue but a legal one as well.
